" I’ve always been a very keen sketcher, and was the typical child who, as a last resort, could be kept quiet with pencil and paper!
When I moved to New Zealand from Italy in 1995, I joined the Whitianga Art Group where a lovely member, Thelma Prestage, helped my English and introduced me to watercolour.
Since then, apart from raising a loud Italian family, I have become more and more passionate about painting, but my first love is still drawing and, in particular, Life Drawing. I like to experiment with different media and styles, just to follow my feelings and try to express my emotions on paper.
I started as a self-taught artist, and I'm currently enrolled with The Learning Connexion in Wellington (NZ), studying towards a Diploma of Art and Creativity (Level 5).
